May Market Bounces Back: 📈 Long-Term Investors Rewarded Once Again
May 2025 turned out to be a strong month for the U.S. stock market, with the S&P 500 gaining 6.3%, marking its best monthly performance since November 2023.
During the Fed’s May 6-7 meeting, the Federal Reserve decided to maintain the federal funds target range rate between 4.25% to 4.5%.¹ Long-term performance of US stocks remained strong: up 110% in the past 5 years, up 235% over 10 years and up 628% for the 20 years ending 5/30/2025.²
